These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FishRadar mobile application and backend services (together, "the Service") provided by Linkan Labs ("we", "us", "FishRadar"), a company registered in Türkiye. By downloading, installing, or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FishRadar provides fishing-condition scoring, marine forecasts, catch logging, and related utilities. We rely on third-party data sources (Open-Meteo, NASA GIBS, Copernicus Marine, Stormglass, and others). The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
Fishing involves risk. The Service is an informational aid only. It is NOT:
You are solely responsible for your safety at sea or on the water. You must check official marine weather forecasts (national meteorological services, coast guard broadcasts) before and during any trip. Never rely on FishRadar as the sole source of weather or navigation information.
You must be at least 16 years old (EU/Türkiye) or 13 (US/UK) to use the Service. If you are a minor, you must have a parent's or legal guardian's consent.
You may create a FishRadar account using your email address or a supported OAuth provider (Apple, Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@fishradar.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to circumvent payment systems, scrape the API, or engage in abusive behavior.
Free features include limited map access, one saved spot, and 3-day forecasts. No payment required.
Pricing (as of launch):
Pricing may vary by region. Payment is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) — we never receive your card details. Apple's Terms of Service and Google's Terms of Service apply to the transaction.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal price is the then-current price unless you were grandfathered. Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not in the FishRadar app.
The 7-day free trial is available to first-time subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged the yearly price. You can cancel anytime during the trial from your store settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple / Google per their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly. Specific EU/Turkish consumer rights apply — see section 12.
FishRadar Pro supports Apple Family Sharing. Sharing with a family member counts toward our eligibility rules; abuse may result in entitlement revocation.

We may remove content and/or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.
You retain all rights to content you upload (catch photos, notes, personal best records). By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process the content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Shared catches (where you opt in to share with other FishRadar users or social media) grant a broader license to display the content on the platforms you share to, subject to those platforms' terms.
We do not claim ownership of your catches.
The Service, including the scoring algorithm, app design, branding, hotspot database, and proprietary content, is the property of Linkan Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
The Service aggregates data from multiple third-party sources under their respective licenses (see Privacy Policy). Data accuracy, completeness, and availability depend on these sources and are not guaranteed. We disclaim liability for errors in third-party data.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. For material changes that adversely affect paying subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current billing period, in accordance with Apple/Google store policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkan Labs disclaims all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of data.
FishRadar is an informational aid only. You use the Service at your own risk. We are not liable for any fishing trip outcomes, weather-related incidents, injuries, equipment loss, or any other consequence of using or relying on the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linkan Labs' total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to FishRadar in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages (including lost profits, lost data, or bodily harm) even if advised of the possibility.
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights. In particular:

These Terms are governed by Turkish law without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their home country as permitted by applicable consumer-protection law.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account (Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my account). Termination does not automatically cancel active subscriptions — cancel those separately in your App Store / Google Play settings.
We may terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 5 (Acceptable Use), 7 (IP), 10 (Warranties), 11 (Liability), and 13 (Disputes) survive termination.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before the effective date and will require your continued use or explicit acceptance. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Service before the effective date.
